Moneys have revenge on their mind against Cinderford

The Dover Road side are keen to make amends for a recent 5-0 FA Trophy thrashing.

Boss Dave Carter expects a different outcome this time when the teams meet on Saturday (3pm).

He said: '˜We got held up for hours on the motorway and didn't get there until late.

'˜It wasn't the best preparation for a game.

'˜The feeling in the camp is that we owe them one and can get our own back by taking the league points on offer.'

Carter knows his team will have to show a lot more resilience than they did in the 3-3 draw against Melksham Town.

On Tuesday night Moneyfields held a three-goal lead with just eight minutes left to play.

However they imploded in the closing stages and ended up sharing the spoils.

Carter added: '˜We threw it away.

'˜It was very frustrating because we scored three very good goals.

'˜I took some of our more experienced players off and it backfired.

'˜We panicked and caved in against a big physical side.

'˜It is something we can't afford to let happen again.

'˜Beating Cinderford will go a long way to softening that blow.

'˜It could also lift us up into the play-off places.'

Carter is hoping to have Sam Pearce and Lewis Fennemore back in contention.

Pearce has missed the last couple of weeks after suffering concussion at Mangotsfield United.

His presence in the heart of defence will be important.

Curtis Da Costa also came through the midweek game after his recent shoulder injury.

New signing Jack Barker, from AFC Totton, continues in the squad.

Carter regards the 19-year-old Portsmouth based player, who was with Aldershot Academy, as an excellent prospect.

The home side are unbeaten in their past five league games.

A factor in this is the return from suspension of striker Steve Hutchings.

He has scored five goals in the past three games including another two against Melksham.

At his sharpest Hutchings is a handful for any defence.
