Two late goals handed Moneyfields a deserved 2-0 victory over Verwood at Dover Road in the Wessex League premier division.
After a forgetful first half, the substitutions of Bobby Scott and Dan Gauntlett brought a marked improvement in the home side’s fortunes after the break.
After wasting a host of chances, Moneys finally took the lead in the 75th minute courtesy of Jack Lee.
The defender charged down a poor clearance before thrashing the ball into the roof of the net.
The hosts spurned more chances, which almost proved costly as Dave Hook had to dive at the feet of Haskell on two occasions to preserve his side’s lead.
But Moneys made the points safe in the final minute, Scott connecting to Evans’ through ball and rounding the keeper before slotting home.
