The Hawks cruised into the third round of the Hampshire Senior Cup with a 3-0 win over Hartley Wintney at the Memorial Ground.
Striker Dennis Oli scored twice in the first half to put the visitors in command.
And substitute Alex Przespolewski sealed the win, 15 minutes from time.
Lee Bradbury named a strong line-up for the tie at the Combined Counties League side.
Keeper Charlie Searle replaced Scott Bevan, who was rested after playing at the weekend having returned from a hand injury.
Hawks struck the opener after just nine minutes.
Oli latched onto a through ball, rounded the goalkeeper and fired into the unguarded net.
On 32 minutes it was 2-0 as Oli smashed home Scott Jones’ downward header.
The third goal finished any hopes the home side had of a late charge.
Przespolewski hammered his shot into the top corner from the edge of the area.
‘It was a professional performance from my players,’ said Bradbury.
‘I told the players I didn’t want a repeat of last season when we were knocked out by Sholing.
‘I learned a lot from that experience last season and this is a competition that I’d like to see us win.
‘We knew we had to apply ourselves in the right way.
‘It was a potential banana skin but we dealt with it well.
‘The players showed the right attitude.
‘Two wins in the space of three days has done us the world of good and it is all about building confidence.’
Oli put in a superb display in attack.
But fellow striker Sahr Kabba limped off in the second half.
Hawks: Searle, Newton, Blanchett, Hutchinson, Strugnell, Woodford, Ramsey, Ryan, Oli, Kabba, Jones. Subs: Monteiro, Bevan, Przespolewski, Wedlake, Ciardini.
