The Hawks worked hard to gain a valuable 2-0 win over Bromley at West Leigh Park and keep their Blue Square South play-off hopes alive.

After a goalless first half, Manny Williams rediscovered his form and put the Hawks in front from the penalty spot four minutes into the second period.

And, late on, Tiryaki made sure of the points when adding a second goal after coming on as a substitute.

After a fortnight with no game, Bognor resumed their pursuit of Ryman League division one south honours with a comfortable 3-0 win at Horsham YMCA.

Luke Nightingale broke the deadlock early on for the visitors before James Crane and James Fraser wrapped up the points for the league leaders.

Meanwhile, first-half goals from Justin Bennett and Liam Sewell proved to be enough to earn Gosport Borough a third successive win as their Southern League division one south & west play-off charge gathered momentum.

Borough ran out 2-1 winners, with visitors North Leigh scoring a consolation in the second half.

In the Wessex League premier division, Fareham added to Hayling United’s relegation worries after they ran out 3-0 winners at Cams Alders.

Danny Hayes, Graham Lindsey and Mark Cotton were all on the mark for Matt Parr’s Reds.

Warren Hunt’s 78th-minute strike earned Moneyfields a 1-0 home win against New Milton Town.
