Pompey travel to Bradford tomorrow night for the first time in almost 15 years.

And the Fratton faithful have fond memories of that trip to Valley Parade.

The Blues last travelled to the Bantams on May 4, 2003 and fans were in buoyant spirits.

Pompey had already secured the Division One title after defeating Rotherham 3-2 at Fratton Park the previous weekend.

It made for a carnival-like atmosphere at Valley Parade and Harry Redknapp’s side cruised to a 5-0 victory.

The two teams were due to play at the start of March but the match was called off because of heavy snow.
