The Pilgrims boss is serving a two-match touchline ban and will be in the stands for Saturday's League One meeting against the Blues.

Adams was sent off during Plymouth's 1-1 draw with Southend earlier this month following an altercation with Chris Powell.

The Shrimpers boss also received a red card.

Adams served the first of his two-match ban during Argyle's 3-2 loss at Millwall in the Carabao Cup second round last night.

He'll again be in the stands when his side travel to Pompey, with assistant manager Paul Wotton set to deputise on the touchline.Â
