Oh the agony.

Definitely. At the start of the night, following the Carlisle result, you would want all three points against Morecambe.

So it was two points dropped, but we still managed to gain a point on third place.

Morecambe didn’t really bring much, it was just a long ball over the top and David Forde pulled off an excellent save in the first-half.

I was really surprised to see Lee Molyneux’s leveller considering the strength of our defence.

What about those missed chances?

I don’t know what it is, but often at home we don’t know whether to stick or twist at 1-0 up.

The second goal would have made it a different game, but we lack a clinical approach in front of goal.

I don’t want to get on Eoin Doyle’s back, but if Michael Smith had missed the same opportunities in recent matches, the supporters would be on at him.

Anyone stand out for you?

I am possibly the first to criticise Kyle Bennett because he gives the ball away too often, but last night he was lively and our best player.

All our positive attacks emanated from him and he played really, really well.

Of our attacking players, he was the most threatening.

Despite his shots unfortunately not being on target!

That was one of his best games in a Pompey shirt this season and he was unlucky to be taken off – although his replacement was Kal Naismith!

Talking of Naismith, another impressive cameo of him then.

I find him quite a frustrating player, you can kind of see why he’s on the bench.

He possesses such a good technique on the ball but whenever he starts a match looks a little lazy and obviously Paul Cook doesn’t like that.

Having said that, whenever he gets a chance he often puts it away.
