That was a great game of football, it’s just a shame we let in two soft goals.

I’d love to see the second-half possession stats, we absolutely battered them.

And what an atmosphere.

You mentioned the atmosphere, it was a special night wasn’t it.

Definitely, it was like the good old days, the support was absolutely amazing.

This season there have been a lot of flat atmospheres, even with big attendances. It is not what it used to be.

Mind you, I wasn’t happy with the queues before the game which meant I missed our first goal.

There were huge queues at the North stand entrance to the Fratton end because many peoples’ tickets were not working.

I see you have given Gary Roberts a magical 10 out of 10.

Yes, he was immense.

Paul Cook said he wanted his big-game players to turn up and Roberts did exactly that.

He was always looking for the ball, at the heart of everything, made us tick all night and how cool was he for the penalty.

This season he has turned up in patches, some days he has gone missing, but in those situations such as last night he thrives.

What did you make of the Jamille Matt headbutt?

I didn’t see it unfortunately, I was distracted by the two benches coming together and what they were up to.

However, many I spoke to thought Matt should have gone, he put his head in and that is a straight red.

I thought the ref really struggled, he was under pressure and couldn’t cope.

Finally, can Pompey do it?

It’s all on one game – and I think we’ll win it.
