Pompey author draws a blank in book about Saints

Portsmouth publisher Life Is Amazing has produced A Pompey Person’s Guide To Everything GREAT About Southampton - a guide book with a difference. After a brief introduction, every page is blank. Or nearly, as there is some information about the old rivalry between Pompey and Saints.

City-based author Matt Wingett says the £5 book is all meant in a spirit of fun.

‘It’s designed as a laugh for Christmas Day,’ he says. ‘It’s the perfect little stocking filler or Secret Santa - not only for the die-hard Pompey fan, but also to wind-up your Saints-supporting mates. People really have a chuckle when they see it!’

Matt says that to show there are no hard feelings he has also produced its sister book - A Southampton Person’s Guide To Everything GREAT About Portsmouth - which is similarly low in content.
