Pompey given Home Park trip
Pompey have been drawn against Plymouth in the Capital One Cup.
Michael Appleton’s men will play the League Two outfit in the first round of the former Carling Cup competition in the week beginning August 13.
With the League One campaign starting on Saturday, August 18, the trip to Home Park marks the first match of the season.
The draw was made this morning, with Pompey among 18 seeded clubs.
