Diego De Girolamo was brought down in the box and smashed his penalty into the bottom right corner past Alex Bass.

City doubled their advantage in the 76th minute.

De Girolamo beat three Pompey players before sliding a reverse ball into Freddie Hinds, who tucked his finish away neatly.

The Blues got themselves back in it with seven minutes to play when Theo Widdrington found space inside the Robins’ box and slotted home.

But Hinds put the game beyond doubt for City in the 90th minute.

Kel Akpobire won the ball in Pompey territory before feeding in Hinds, who finished from 18 yards to bag his second on the game.
