The Blues are back on league duty on Sunday against Plymouth at home.

They will be raring to go again after the 9-0 hammering of Poole in the plate competition.

Rachel Panting and Carla Perkins both scored hat-tricks.

Boss Sadler was very pleased with the creative, attacking play from his team.

The approach was spot on and they also ensured they didn't drop their level to allow hosts Poole any consolation.

Sadler added: '˜We've scored a lot of goals this season.

'˜Our attacking interplay at times was superb.

'˜Decision making was good. There are still areas we can improve upon.

'˜For Rachel to get a hat-trick and Carla to get a hat-trick is superb.

'˜To keep a clean sheet sets a solid foundation that we can take into the next game.'

Jazz Younger, Emma-Jane May and debut-making keeper Jaime Rowlands, 16, all came into the starting line-up.

They each demonstrated what they can bring to the Pompey team.

Sadler felt their contributions showcased exactly what he wants from players in his squad when they get the opportunity.

He added: '˜It is great to be able to rotate the squad.

'˜Jaime's composure and her distribution out from the back at 16 years of age is just excellent.

'˜Ej's movement, her interplay, and her first touch passes around the corner were superb.

'˜Jazz, at the back, was a presence. She swept up everything.

'˜Hats off to them. All three of them took their opportunity.'
