Adam McGurk has completed his move to Pompey.

The Burton Albion forward today put pen to paper on a two-year Fratton Park deal to become Paul Cook’s fifth recruit.

Christian Burgess is expected to follow as the Blues’ recruitment drive gathers pace.

McGurk, aged 26, turned down the offer of a new Brewers deal to link up with Pompey.

The former Aston Villa apprentice made 83 appearances and scored 19 goals for Burton, who he won promotion with last season.
