POMPEY could have a new owner in seven to ten days, according to the joint administrator of the club’s parent company.
UHY Hacker Young’s Andrew Andronikou, joint administrator of Convers Sports Initiatives (CSI), told BBC Radio Solent he is in the final stages of agreeing terms with a party to take over the club.
He said: ‘We have been actively looking for someone suitable to buy the club.
‘There has been numerous interest as usual – some better than others.
‘I’m hoping that within the next seven to ten days we will have some news for the outside world.’
Mr Andronikou was appointed joint-administrator of CSI in November.
He told The News on Saturday any potential buyers will be ambitious and said he was looking to find someone for the medium-to-long-term.
