BEN DAVIES has won the The News’ Pompey player of the month award for November.
The full-back, who picked up the September accolade, topped our poll – as voted for by our readers.
He was the overwhelming winner of the vote, receiving 42 per cent, after another impressive month for Paul Cook’s side.
The former Sheffield United ace recorded his maiden Blues goal in the 6-0 thumping of York at Fratton Park.
He also proved a key player, with his offensive play down the right flank, as Pompey went unbeaten throughout the month.
Davies’ nearest rivals for the award was Marc McNulty.
He picked up 36 per cent of the vote following his hat-trick in the 6-0 win over the Minstermen.
The on-loan Sheffield United man also netted in the 2-2 draw with Carlisle United at Brunton Park.
Skipper Michael Doyle was third (12 per cent) after a shortlist of five was named.
Coalan Lavery was fourth with six per cent, and Kyle Bennett getting four per cent of the votes to finish fifth.
