Conor Chaplin has been handed his first League One start since Boxing Day.

The academy product will partner Brett Pitman in attack for Pompey's clash against Blackburn Rovers at Fratton Park tonight (7.45pm).

Chaplin has been rewarded by boss Kenny Jackett after scoring a 94th-minute winner in Saturday's 2-1 victory at MK Dons.

As a result, Connor Ronan drops to the bench.

Meanwhile, Christian Burgess returns to centre-back following his one-match suspension in place of Oli Hawkins.

Jamal Lowe has also been reinstalled to Jackett's line-up in a left-wing role, after replacing Matty Kennedy at half-time at MK Dons.
