Steve Cotterill felt Pompey’s 1-1 draw with Derby was a fair result in a match he believed was ruined by the weather.
David Nugent’s 90th-minute leveller salvaged a point for the Blues after Steve Davies had given Derby a first-half lead.
Cotterill conceded there was little quality on show between two out-of-form sides.
But the Pompey boss believed the strong wind conditions at Fratton Park prevented any chance of a spectacle.
Cotterill said: ‘The wind really ruined the game.
‘There wasn’t really much quality out on the pitch apart from the two strikes, which were excellent.
‘We had our chances - more than them - but a draw was a fair result on what was a difficult day to play football.’
