ONLY a limited number of tickets to Pompey’s away game to Wimbledon were available on Saturday – but that didn’t stop everyone missing out on the action live.
The club decided to screen live coverage of the match on a screen at Fratton Park, and scores of fans turned up to watch it from the Fratton End.
It was also linked to a screen in the Victory Bar so supporters who felt cold could still watch out of the autumnal weather.
As previously reported, only 828 tickets were available and they were snapped up through a ballot.
Shaun Rafferty, 49, of Waterlooville, turned out with his wife Justine, 44. Shaun said: ‘It’s nice we’ve still been able to give a bit of money to the club.’
