Danny East has revealed his neck injury isn’t as bad as first feared.

East initially believed he had broken his neck after falling on his head as he went for an aerial challenge in last night’s 2-2 draw with Wycombe.

But this morning he tweeted there doesn’t appear to be a fracture.

East tweeted: ‘Thank you for all the messages people! Really appreciated. Yeah it’s true last night the X-Rays showed I’d fractured my neck.

‘However, had some great news this morning!! further scans have showed there doesn’t seem to be a fracture. So happy right now hight(sic) on morphine too!’
