Pompey boss: Youngster can prove critics wrong

Have your say

Pompey fans can witness Vince Hilaire on the DJ decks and legend Linvoy Primus on the dance floor at Club 1898’s Christmas party.

There will be plenty of festive cheer on show at next week’s charity event – held in conjunction with the Pompey ex-players association and the Pompey Study Centre.

Taking place at Goals in Tangier Road on Friday, December 2, many familiar faces will be present.

Hilaire, Primus, Ray Crawford and Alan Knight are just some of the former Fratton Park favourites who have confirmed their attendance.

Supporters can also join in with the Christmas fun, with tickets for the event priced at £5.

They are available from the Pompey Study Centre reception or from www.facebook.com/event. php?eid=11863873 8247920

Funds raised on the night will be used to buy presents for children who will be staying in the QA hospital over the Christmas period. These will be handed out by the Pompey players during a visit early next month.

Entertainment on the evening will be provided by DJs Vince ‘Soulman’ Hilaire, ‘Touchline’ Tony Male and Jake Payne.

In addition, Karen Barnett will perform as Karen Carpenter – singing all the American star’s Christmas favourites.

Club 1898’s Christmas party is on Friday, December 2.

It will run from 7.30pm to midnight.
