A POMPEY Supporters Trust representative has put fans’ worries over new ticket prices to the club’s chief executive.
Supporters reacted angrily to plans to increase the cost of an average ticket for next season by £50 for an adult during the ‘early bird’ stage.
Fans were also unhappy they have to pay upfront by the end of March – or take out one of the club’s finance plans.
Trust board member Ashley Brown said he met Pompey CEO David Lampitt last night to discuss other issues, and was able to raise his concerns.
He said: ‘I explained at length the feelings of the supporters and cited the reasons behind that.
‘I recommended a number of changes that Portsmouth FC should consider in relation to their season ticket and match day pricing.
‘Mr Lampitt has agreed to take these proposals back to the board for review and I hope to hear back from him in the near future.’ The News was unable to reach Mr Lampitt for comment.
