Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng have been sent home from the World Cup, just hours before a key game.
The Ghanaian midfield duo, who both enjoyed successful spells with the Blues, have been suspended indefinitely by the Black Stars.
They will play no part in Ghana’s must-win last Group G match against Portugal in Brasilia later today (5pm).
The squad has been in a state of rebellion over unpaid appearance fees and Muntari is reported to have slapped a senior GFA official during a heated meeting.
Boateng ‘verbally abused’ coach Kwesi Appiah, said the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
