Former Portsmouth talent nominated for women's beach soccer awards

A former Portsmouth Women player is in the running to win two awards at the Beach Soccer Stars Gala.

Molly Clark, currently at Chichester City, has been nominated for both the best player and goal of the year prizes at the prestigious event.

Earlier this year the talented midfielder was named MVP at the Euro Winners Cup as she represented England.

Clark's superb bicycle kick against the Czech Republic at the same tournament has been shortlisted for the best strike.

The awards ceremony takes place in Dubai on November 10.

Formey Pompey player Sarah Kempson '“ currently at Lewes '“ won the player of the year for 2017.
