Victory at Fleetwood has given us all a bit of confidence and I’m predicting a 2-0 win against Blackpool.

But while I’d like to think we can challenge for the play-offs, I wouldn’t like to go up this season.

I want us to do well in the Championship, but we are not yet ready. It’s a bit too early, also in terms of the finances required.

The campaign has been up and down and our good home form at the beginning is the reason we are presently ninth in League One.

For some reason we have not been at it after Christmas, although MK Dons is one of the highlights.

No-one expected great things in our first season back following four years in League Two and mid-table would be a good finish and decent building block.

I know Fleetwood are a poor team, but that was still a good result on Tuesday night and I would keep the same starting XI tomorrow.

Apparently Adam May had a good game, so if he is solid and composed in the middle then hopefully it will give us a platform to go from.

Nathan Thompson’s suspension is not helpful at all, he was good in the centre of midfield for us, a real tackler, with a bit of Michael Doyle in him.

I’m liking Dion Donohue, left, he has come along really well recently and is our biggest goal threat delivering crosses.
