Were you grateful for a point in the end?

Definitely, we were lucky to get the draw and we played poorly.

But we got a point '“ and that could prove crucial at the end of the campaign.

In fairness, we kept on going, even if we didn't deserve more than a draw.

There seemed to be a bit of complacency at times, especially in defence and midfield. Our midfield couldn't get hold of the game in the first half, with so many misplaced passes.

It was lacklustre and Shrewsbury dominated the first half after five minutes.

Not having Ronan Curtis shouldn't have been such an issue against second from bottom.

What did you make of Christian Burgess' mistake?

I've seen it again and he seems to misread the flight of the ball, he didn't mean to but it's bad.

Some say he always has a mistake in him, but that's unfair. There were players all over the pitch on Saturday making mistakes.

You cannot put all the blame on him, why was Greg Docherty all on his own to score after that error?

Burgess will feel terrible about the goal, it was one of his few errors in the game.

What did you make of Andre Green's league debut?

He might have been trying too hard '“ while he was not helped by how poor the team was playing around him.

It would have been far easier to have come on the previous Saturday when we were winning 3-0, but we couldn't do that.

I don't think we can expect him to turn the team around on his first performance. Jamal Lowe was equally as poor in the first half, but improved after the break.

Which players stood out for you?

I would say Lee Brown, but only because he made less mistakes than others!

Brown's a steady player, solid and reliable, not prone to a lot of mistakes. He's not an Enda Stevens getting up the pitch to the byline, he's more defensive, which we need.

Oli Hawkins battled away on his own up front and didn't get a lot of support, while obviously we missed Ronan Curtis.
