Former Pompey manager Harry Redknapp has ruled himself out of the running to become Sunderland boss.
The ex-Fratton Park boss left QPR last season but has been touted as a possible successor to Dick Advocaat, who quit at the weekend.
But Redknapp took to his Kicca web channel to distance himself from any speculation linking him with a return to management at the Stadium of Light.
And he also voiced his doubts that another possible contender, Sam Allardyce, would be interested.
Redknapp seems pretty sure that he wouldn’t want the Sunderland job, but Blues fans may recall there was a similar occasion when there was ‘no chance’ of taking a certain job ‘down the road’...
