Rotherham 1-0 Pompey: they said what?

Have your say

Hermann Hreidarsson has penned his new Pompey contract.

As expected, the Iceland international returned to the south coast today to agree a one-year deal.

The contract will secure Hreidarsson’s services for a fifth season at Fratton Park.

He has so far scored eight goals in 121 appearances and was part of the FA Cup-winning team in 2008.

Last year he battled back from a career-threatening Achilles injury to play a major part in boss Steve Cotterill’s first season at the Blues.
