Pompey were held to a 1-1 draw at Accrington on Saturday.

The Blues’ lead at the top of League One was cut to two points following their stalemate at the Crown Stadium.

Oli Hawkins netted Pompey’s opener in the 62nd minute, only for Michael Ihiekwe to restore parity two minutes later.

More than 1,110 of the Fratton faithful were in attendance to watch the clash and here’s what they had to say on Twitter afterwards…

Nearly in November and we’re still unbeaten away from home which is an incredible achievement. Shows how much we’ve improved on just from last season #Pompey

Unlucky from Pompey today. To dominate the game and not win is always frustrating but we continue our unbeaten start to the season away. Onto Bradford next week

Will always take a point away from home. KJ should have utilised bench more though #Pompey

Brazil for 20 minutes, bang average for 70. Need to be more clinical when we are on top but at least we still got a point with a few players missing. #pompey

Ben Thompson played well in tough game. Got to keep him #Pompey

It’s nearly November and we are still unbeaten away from home...incredible #Pompey

Should’ve scored 2 or 3 times in the first half but it wasn’t meant to be. A point is a point and we’re still top of the league. On to Bradford away! Up the blues! #Pompey

Frustrating second half, but would have taken it before kick off. #pompey

Happy with a point but Kenny needs a plan B, teams have now worked out the plan A and we don’t seem to have an alternative. #pompey

We need to score and when we’re on top and keep playing with that intensity and quality we had in the first 20 mins #Pompey
