Pompey new-boy Marc McNulty has spoken of his delight after sigining for the Blues on an emergency loan until January.
The 23-year-old Sheffield United striker is available to play for Paul Cook’s side in tomorrow’s FA Cup first-round clash with Macclesfield Town (3pm).
And it’s a case of old friends reunited for the Scottish hitman, who netted 13 times for the Blades last season – including a League Cup quarter-final winner over Southampton.
Speaking to Pompey’s official website, McNulty said: ‘This is a massive club and I’m delighted to be here. Michael Doyle and Ben Davies have both told me a lot about the place.
‘I’m used to playing in front of big crowds who have high expectations, so I’ll be okay with dealing with that at Pompey.
‘My first job is just to help the team, but if I can do that by scoring goals, then even better.’
