Matt Tubbs has secured his Pompey exit.
The transfer-listed striker has moved to Forest Green Rovers, weeks after initially turning down the non-league side.
Tubbs represented one of the Blues’ top earners and they were eager to remove him off their wage bill after he fell out of favour under Paul Cook.
The 31-year-old last played for Pompey in October 2015 and in the summer was made available for transfer alongside Adam McGurk and Kal Naismith.
Chairman Iain McInnes told The News on Monday there would be no more outfield arrivals until one of the three had departed.
Now Pompey have freed up funds as Cook continues seeking ways of strengthening his squad.
