Marc McNulty’s Pompey stay has been extended until the season’s end.
The 23-year-old marked the final match of his existing loan spell from Sheffield United with a goal in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Crawley,
However, as revealed by The News on December 8, the Blues had a gentleman’s agreement in place with the League One club to increase McNulty’s stay beyond that initial period.
That has now been implemented and the striker will see out the campaign with Paul Cook’s side.
In addition, Matt Clarke’s loan is set to be extended during the next 24 hours following agreement with Ipswich.
Although the teenage defender will be unable to face his parent club in next weekend’s FA Cup third round fixture.
Meanwhile, Pompey have officially announced Jayden Stockley has returned to Bournemouth following the expiry of his six-month loan.
