Tom Naylor misses Pompey’s FA Cup second-round tie at Rochdale today (2pm).

The combative midfielder hasn’t been included in Kenny Jackett’s match-day squad, although he is at Spotland.

Naylor has been replaced by Ben Close in the engine room.

That’s the only change the Blues boss has made from Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Walsall.

Meanwhile, Anton Walkes returns to substitutes’ bench after pleading guilty for driving while disqualified and with no insurance on Wednesday. He was absent for the victory over the Saddlers.

Naylor’s absence has also handed Danny Rose a rare place in Jackett’s squad against the Dale.

Pompey: MacGillivray, Nathan Thompson, Whatmough, Clarke, Brown, Ben Thompson, Close, Lowe, Evans, Curtis, Hawkins.

Bench: McGee, Walkes, Burgess, Haunstrup, Rose, Green, Pitman.
