MK Dons v Pompey revisited - but where are they now?

The Blues' previous trip to tomorrow's opponents came on October 6, 2012 in League One.

After victories against Scunthorpe and Yeovil, Pompey's faint hopes of survival had been given a boost as they searched for a third consecutive win.

With their off-the-field problems still circulating, plus the departure of a number of players in the summer, the starting XI consisted of only one player who had been at the club for over a year - 17-year-old youth product Adam Webster.

After taking a two-goal lead through Izale Mcleod and Gabor Gyepes, Pompey were unable to hold on to their advantage.

A Webster own goal and a Darren Potter equaliser with 18 minutes to go saw this one end all-square.

After two wins in their next three games, the Blues would then go without a victory for a club-record 23 games - until a 2-1 away victory at Crewe in March 2013
