POMPEY are waiting to see the extent of Conor Chaplin’s shin injury.
And Paul Cook is prepared to give Brian Murphy the time to recover from the groin injury which kept him out of Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Oxford United.

Murphy missed out at the Kassam Stadium as Paul Jones was handed his first league start of the campaign.
Jones shone with some impressive stops which helped the Blues maintain their unbeaten league start.
Chaplin had to come off after 29 minutes of the clash with the U’s.
Cook confirmed it was a shin problem which led to him being withdrawn.
Gary Roberts is also in the treatment room after picking up an ankle injury against Accrington Stanley.
Cook is comfortable about the injuries, however, and feels any absences offer spaces for people to make the most of against Bristol Rovers.
Michael Doyle will also miss the trip to the Memorial Stadium after being sent off on Saturday.
Cook said: ‘Conor had to come off in the first half.
‘He’s had shin problems. He didn’t have it yesterday, so it was picked up in the game.
‘Brian has a groin. It’s not something to mess about with, so he needs to rest it until it’s better.
‘Gary rolled his ankle last weekend and wasn’t ready.
‘But that gives someone else a chance to come in and show what they can do.’
Meanwhile, Pompey will take on Vanarama National League outfit Eastleigh in a friendly tomorrow.
That will allow Cook to give his squad the playing time he has been desperately searching for.
He side: ‘We have a game behind closed doors which is great.
‘It will allow us to get minutes.’
