Paul Cook is set to go same again for the tough trip to Home Park.

With no fresh injury worries, the Blues boss has the option of retaining the team which won 1-0 at Leyton Orient last weekend.

That would mean Amine Linganzi keeping his place as one of the holding midfielders following a strong full debut for Pompey.

Noel Hunt continues to be troubled by the groin problem which has sidelined him for the past five matches.

Adam Buxton (ankle) and Drew Talbot (hamstring) remain absences as the right-back duo battle back from injury.

For Plymouth, Derek Adams is expected to retain the same side which won at Stevenage last weekend.

The Pilgrims have won nine and drawn one of their past 10 league matches to establish themselves as early pacesetters at the top of League Two.

Former Pompey pair, Sonny Bradley and Jake Jervis, will again feature in the starting XI, having enjoyed strong starts to the season.

However, Gary Sawyer (stomach), Oscar Threlkeld (knee), Paul-Arnold Garita (hamstring) and Ryan Brunt (cruciate) are out.
