Manchester City talk has been banned as Pompey’s Academy bid to secure a lucrative Fratton Park date.

And for the winners of the contest there is the tantalising attraction of a home tie against Premier League leaders City.
For under-18s boss Harris, however, the focus remains unwaveringly on securing a positive result at the Memorial Stadium.
And Pompey’s youngsters have been instructed to ignore what lies in wait should victory be achieved.
Harris said: ‘We are focusing on Bristol Rovers, there is no point talking about Manchester City because we may not even play them.
‘For us the concentration is fully on tonight’s fixture.
‘When last week’s draw came out for the following round we outlined there would be no talk about it.
‘The lads haven’t been told there is no match against Manchester City, the match is against Bristol Rovers and that is a fact.
‘That is our focus and what we are working towards, we are looking only at tonight.
‘If anything, I am a little bit frustrated with the draw taking place before we’ve played this match.
‘It is a strange one, but I am a bit of a traditionalist in that respect.
‘I suppose at our level it is more about the logistics and making people aware what lies ahead if they get through in terms of booking a pitch and what their first team is doing.’
The date for the Manchester City game will be fixed once the outcome of tonight’s match has been decided.
