Pompey fans will get their first ever look behind the scenes at the club’s Copnor Road training ground today.
And leading the exclusive online video tour is none other than Blues skipper Michael Doyle.
In the latest of our Pompey Talk: Uncovered features, which are filmed in partnership with Giant Leap Video & Photography, we get unprecedented access to the club’s inner sanctum.
The film, which will be aired at midday on The News’ website portsmouth.co.uk and via our dedicated sport Facebook page Portsmouth Sport – The News, sees Doyle lead the way through the entire training base.
He introduces us to the club’s cooks as he tours the kitchen and stops off in the gym to see the likes of Jack Whatmough fighting to regain full fitness.
The boot room, the match analysts’ cave and the games room all feature.
And the skipper even risks the wrath of the gaffer when he interrupts some crucial research.
He doesn’t stop there, either.
Doyle disturbs one Blues player during a physio session and then, following a warm welcome from his team-mates, he has to swiftly sign off and catch up on the training.
The video is a must-see for all Pompey fans.
Just make sure you log on to the website or keep your eyes peeled on social media, so you don’t miss it.
Our first Pompey Talk: Uncovered saw Kyle Bennett give us a masterclass on beating a defender in a special skills session.
Alongside these features, we welcomed Trust spokesman and former Blues skipper Johnny Ertl on to the sofa for our weekly Pompey Talk: Extra-time show.
He answered your questions as he spoke openly about the supporters’ group and what the future holds.
The Austrian also named the best player he played with at Fratton Park – and also his best and worst managers.
So what are you waiting for? Sit back, relax and enjoy the shows.
