Pompey's clash with Scunthorpe has been postponed today due to snow.

Fratton Park and surrounding areas are covered and a decision was made this morning after discussions with the matchday officials.

The pitch was playable yesterday, having been covered to guard against frost but when the snow arrived in the early hours of this morning the match had to be postponed.

It follows the postponement of the Burnley fixture to ice and snow a fortnight ago.

Tickets for both games will be valid for the rearranged fixtures.

All of today's non-league and local football matches are expected to be wiped out by the cold snap.
