Pompey are poised to complete the signing of left-winger Milan Lalkovic.

The 23-year-old is a free agent having turned down the offer of a new deal with Walsall.

He made 51 appearances for the League One club, scoring seven times, in a campaign which would see them lose in the play-off semi-finals.

Lalkovic, who is a Slovakian under-21 international, came through the youth ranks at Chelsea and has also spent time with Barnsley during his stay in England.
