Pompey have completed the signing of Joe Devera from Swindon.
The defender, who made 31 appearances for the Robins this season and scored in the second leg of their play-off semi-final against Brentford, is the latest addition to Guy Whittingham’s squad rebuild.
The 26-year-old joins after his contract at the County Ground expired.
Meanwhile, Dan Butler has penned a two-year deal to keep him at the club.
Butler and Devera join Tom Craddock, Sonny Bradley, Danny East, Patrick Agyemang, Romain Padovani and Phil Smith in pledging their futures to Fratton Park.
