Portsmouth offer student discounts for Wycombe clashÂ

Pompey are hoping the latest batch of students in the city become adopted members of the Fratton faithful.

It's freshers' week at the University of Portsmouth and the Blues are offering ticket deals for this Saturday's visit of Wycombe Wanderers. 

Pompey were present at the institution's Freshers' Fayre today, with seats available to purchase for the clash against Gareth Ainsworth's side.

And, as a one off, students can attend the game for £5.

The discount is in place to try to encourage those studying in the city to attend Fratton Park on a regular basis. 

The University of Portsmouth is the Blues' main club partner after they agreed a three-year deal in May. 

Kenny Jackett's troops will be looking to stay top of League One with a victory over Wycombe.
