Wilkinson was on target in his side’s 3-1 victory at Fratton Park last campaign.

Bradley Garmston limped out of Gillingham’s draw at Shrewsbury last weekend with a knock.

Steve Lovell is hoping to have Regan Charles-Cook, Billy Bingham and Elliott List back in his squad. Connor Ogilvie could also be involved at the Blues.

Meanwhile, Kenny Jackett will once again pick from the same squad of players for Gillingham’s visit.

The Pompey boss has no new injury concerns as his side aim to make it 12 league games unbeaten.

But he will have to decide whether to bring Christian Burgess back in after his missed out on a squad place at Coventry.

Andre Green is the only player in the treatment room after undergoing a knee operation.

He is aiming to return at the end of the month. Dion Donohue (hamstring) is back in training and earmarked for the Checkatrade Trophy clash at Crawley next week.
