While Pompey’s first round thumping of Maidenhead was shown on BT Sport, fans who can’t make the trip up to Greater Manchester won’t be able to watch the game on the box here in the UK despite it being moved from Saturday for TV.

Instead the FA Cup second round clash is being shown internationally instead of domestically – so if you are a Pompey fan living abroad you may still be able to watch the game.

But there are still a couple of ways for Pompey fans to catch the action, as the League One side aim to reach the glamour of the third round early next year.

When do Pompey play?

The Fratton Park side’s match against Rochdale at Spotland will kick off at 2pm on Sunday.

Here's how fans can watch the game in the UK

British bookmakers Bet365 will be showing the game live on iPhone, iPad or Android devices but there are a few requirements needed to be able to watch it on the company’s app.

First you must have a good 3G or WiFi connection in order to stream the FA Cup clash.

Secondly, and more importantly, you need a funded account with Bet365 or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours to qualify.

If you don’t want to watch it just on a mobile device, or want to set up an account with a gambling company, you will still be able to follow the action on BBC’s Final Score.

The programme will not show the full Pompey game – but it will show all the goals as they go in.
