The talented young striker had been out with injury.

But his comeback will be a big boost for Bognor.

He has been in prolific form for them this season.

Pompey's Bradley Lethbridge was also back in the team for the Rocks.

They fell behind to an early goal from the visitors at Nyewood Lane.

But Smith headed in an equaliser after an excellent delivery from Lethbridge as the Blues duo combined well.

In the second half the visitors went in front again on 51 minutes only for Jimmy Muitt to hit back four minutes later.

Further goals from Shane Gore and Tommy Scutt confidently saw the Rocks home.

Smith was substituted towards the end of the first half as he looks to carefully get his match fitness back after his recent injury.

The win lifts Jack Pearce's side back up to fourth in the Bostik League premier division.
