Miles Storey admitted he is disappointed to have his Pompey loan stay cut short.
The Swindon loanee became the latest Blues player to leave through the exit door – joining Matt Fish, Alex Wynter and Lee Holmes – as boss Andy Awford continued his squad reshuffle.
The forward heads back to the Robins after making 22 appearances and scoring three goals.
‘Seems I’ve played my last game for Portsmouth, wouldn’t of expected this at this point last month but hey ho, it’s football,’ said Storey through his Twitter account.
‘A bit disappointed it’s been cut short but I would like to thank Pompey for the chance to get some games under my belt.
‘I’ve had some fantastic moments at Fratton Park and enjoyed myself when I have been involved this season. Met some great people.’
