Pompey have named the side which achieved FA Cup success over Maidenhead as they this afternoon take on Scunthorpe.

Following a much-changed line-up in the Checkatrade Trophy victory over Spurs under-21s, Kenny Jackett returns to the team which won at York Road.

In the Blues’ first League One match in three weeks, the in-form Oli Hawkins leads the attack on a run of five goals in six matches.

Ronan Curtis is on the left of the attacking three following his return from Republic of Ireland international duty, while leading scorer Jamal Lowe against features.

Elsewhere at Glanford Park this afternoon, fit-again Brett Pitman is on a bench which lacks Andre Green, despite the winger’s recent return from injury.

Pompey: MacGillivray, Nathan Thompson, Whatmough, Clarke, Brown, Naylor, Ben Thompson, Lowe, Evans, Curtis, Hawkins.

Subs: McGee, Walkes, Burgess, Pitman, Wheeler, Close, Haunstrup.
