Bradley Tarbuck has been released by Pompey.
The Emsworth youngster is one of 11 players out of contract next month awaiting the Blues’ managerial situation to be resolved before learning their future.
Today the 19-year-old received a phonecall informing him there was no new deal on the table.
Tarbuck, who spent time on loan at Dorchester this season, made three Pompey first-team appearances after coming through the ranks.
Paul Cook is continuing to talk to the remaining 10 players as he seeks to finalise his retained list by the start of next week.
