POMPEY LADIES’ impressive start to the FA Premier League southern division season continued as they made it three wins from three games with a 3-0 victory over QPR Ladies at Privett Park.
The reigning champions delivered another stellar showing as goals from Lucy Quinn, Charley Wilson and Shannon Sievwright ensured another three-point haul.
Perry Northeast’s side led in sensational fashion when Quinn scored via the crossbar from 40 yards out and doubled their advantage before the interval when Wilson headed home from close range after Sarah Kempson’s cross came back off the upright.
Sievwright then pounced on a goalkeeping error 20 minutes from time to seal another comfortable win.
Pompey Ladies will now travel to Lewes on Sunday hoping for a repeat of their 3-0 triumph in East Sussex back in October 2014.
