POMPEY manager Kenny Jackett said his side lacked desire in their defeat at Gillingham this afternoon. 

The Blues lost 2-0 at Fratton Park – their first League One defeat of the season.

Jackett said: ‘There were a high amount of corners from Lee Brown and there was nothing wrong with the delivery, but they were always first to the ball in the box.

‘Then in open play we got into good positions but we either didn’t pick out the right ball or want it enough.’
