Despite falling short for successive seasons, the boss told The News he still has the hunger to ensure the Blues return to the second tier for the first time since 2012.
Jackett spoke about having the nucleus of a squad that will stand Pompey in good stead heading into the 2020-21 season.

1. Alex Bass
The young keeper may be disappointed with the two goals he conceded in the play-offs. 2. Craig MacGillivray
There’s probably not been a better No2 in League One this season. You can’t imagine that the Scot will want to continue in a support-act role and may look for pastures new if he’ll again be second choice. 3. Duncan Turnbull

4. James Bolton
