Assessing the nucleus of Portsmouth's squad and what it means heading into the 2020-21 season

Kenny Jackett is determined to steer Pompey into the Championship after suffering play-off defeat to Oxford on Monday night.

Despite falling short for successive seasons, the boss told The News he still has the hunger to ensure the Blues return to the second tier for the first time since 2012.

Jackett spoke about having the nucleus of a squad that will stand Pompey in good stead heading into the 2020-21 season.
